Agreed. Tre Jones is a talented and disciplined player who was focused primarily on stopping Ponds (with a no-nonsense coach to maintain that focus). A fairly rare combination. It was not a coincidence that Duke lost to a less talented Syracuse team in a game where Jones left because of injury.

MBaldi, wasn’t that the game vs Syracuse where Zion got a Eye injury and didn’t play the second half ? What’s up with the Gael’s this year ? Down year ? Williamson played the entire game versus Syracuse. He was poked in the eye versus Florida State. Jones left the 'Cuse game early in the first half, and with Duke seemingly in control at that point. Reddish missed the entire game due to being sick.
