I'd argue that the best judge of a coach is from our peers.  I read the message boards of other teams in the Big East quite a bit.  All of them really respect Mike Anderson and few love playing against him.  It's a testament that he's the right guy at this place and time.  Hope he's here for a good long while, and helps bring us a long-term coach and a team identity/. We are known for our defense and his style Is exciting.  Only a matter of time before we get even better players.
the point made during yesterday's broadcast -- that CMA's record of a .500 or better record for 15 straight years -- is particularly unusual because Izzo and Few have done it with the same team.  CMA has now done it with 4 different teams.  He is an established, professional coach.  Give him credit for developing these players.  They are playing well and seem like having fun.

Love the win!!!!!! i Think we should have earlington on the floor more at at the end of the game instead of Cole. Earlington only came in beacuse Roberts fouled out.

Earlington is a 47% free throw shooter......if he is on the floor more at the end of games, it sure as hell better be an constant offense for defense substitution pattern!

I saw someone else mention this above in this thread, Champ has to be careful, he got away with shuffling his feet a couple of times, those could have been walks.

By the same token possibly a POY candidate, and I Love his composure, reminds me of how composed Malik Seeley always played for us.

What guards in the BE would look forward to being guarded by Posh and even Dunn???

I pray they play their best against Nova and bring Gilespie down a peg. When he was a freshmen, I wondered did this guy belong??, well he sure showed my wrong; I heard on a broadcast talk of him in the mix for National Player of the Year. Wow. But he does not go up against defenders like Posh every night.

I was down on Dunn most of the game yesterday. I thought he was playing one of his worst games in a while, forcing shots and the like. I have to give him credit. He stuck with it, played hard and had 2 of the biggest moments at the end. Tough kid

Didn't post during game or right after.  But just have to say I enjoy this team a lot.  Definitely have made nice strides to get to this point from earlier this year.  We just have to trust Anderson's teams take some time to gel especially with a considerable amount of new guys.  Also would love the 4-5 star recruits but I kind of relish we don't have any and love seeing Champaign and posh etc go above and beyond their "rankings"

BrookJersey Redmen, I like you comment comparing Julian's composure with Malik.  Such a calm demeanor and agree with MJMAHERJR Xanax comment.  Yes I do relax when I see Julian getting touches.

One substitution that has gone unnoticed but I thought was smart.  Posh picked up a quick foul at the beginning of the game.  After he made that steel and three point play near the very end of the first half, Anderson took him out.  With his style of play, he probably didn't want him possibly picking up a cheap one with seconds to go in the half.  I thought it was a smart move.

But despite his aggressive style and the refs one sided officiating the other way, Posh only committed that one foul.  Amazing.

Definitely a team to enjoy - and Mr. Posh maybe our best player; maybe our most important player; leading Big East in steals - we  already like and lean on him AND oh yes, and he (and Wusu, Pinzon, Traore) was recruited by Mike Anderson and his poor recruiting staff lol

Thank you so much.

@1:52 mark, the expression on Greg Williams' face is priceless after Champ splashes a trey.

Watching that and also seeing Cole reminded me of something. Obviously winning cures everything but it's good to see Cole enjoying things more on court and on bench. Kid lookd more relaxed. Excited to see what he does rst of this year and next
