Hate to say this, but we seem to play better when Heron is on bench. We still need him if we’re going to have any semblance of a successful season. Fig needs to be on the court the majority of the game, regardless of whether or not he’s scoring. Roberts just keeps getting better and better. Kudos to Caraher. Great comeback win. Lot of heart.

Big games from Robert's and Carahar when we needed it most. Rutherford too settled offense down and picked up on the defense. Good win. Proved to the team we can win on bad days from Heron and LJ

Tip of the cap to Roberts and Caraher. Stepped up when we needed them.

Tough weekend for Heron. Still, he was the first guy jumping off the bench when Caraher nailed a big three. Nice to see the leadership even on a bad day.

Agree re: Rutherford.

He can't score from really anywhere on the court, but he did provide a spark on defense today. It really was the defense that was responsible for that comeback. All 5 of those guys did a great job, as did LJ when he came back in.

Caraher changed the whole complexion of this game. We were a dead team till he came in and got us going. Heron keeps faking the 3 and then forces something that isn’t there. Roberts on the other hand never forces anything. where was he last year Mullin?

The whole team needs to be in the gym shooting hundreds of free throws. No excuse to shoot under 60% as a team!

13 points combined between LJ and MH. Yet we won the game. On one hand that is tremendous.

On the other hand I can’t really see us having success with that level of production against better competition. We need to get them going. Whether it’s confidence or whatever.

Caraher always changes the complexion of the game when he comes in. ;) :) :) :) :) :)

Great team effort by the bench and J and J. The run of 30 to 10 over the last 11 minutes was impressive.

I'll take any win when LJ scores 7 and Heron scores 6. I don't care if we're playing an 8th grade CYO team. Have to get Heron right somehow or we have a pretty low ceiling (which may be the case anyway)

Great games for Caraher, Roberts and the consistency we've come to expect from Champagnie (our freshman was the only guy to knock down all of his ft's today) I also thought Rutherford was able to affect the game positively even though he wasn't scoring. Scrappy D, took care of the ball much better than yesterday and even hit the boards hard a few times. He'd been trending down for me so nice to see him be a positive contributor out there.

I asked this in the game thread right before it was locked but can anyone remember the last big we had who made a jump from the previous season the way Roberts seems to have made? I'm having a hard time thinking of it. Feel like our bigs have mostly regressed for the last handful of years.
