(POST-GAME) Georgetown (MSG), Sun. Jan. 27, NOON, FOX / 570AM

Mullin needs to step down at year end.

I'm past my love of him as a player.

Once again:

This team just does not have enough talent to overcome the lack of court IQ and coaching. Such a Shame that Ponds might never dance in his 3 years as a Johnny, and people will still wonder why no local kids or high level recruits want to come here.

I never took a side on wanting Mullin here or not wanting him here. I took a wait and see approach. But, now maybe we need to make change

Not having a time out thwarted the comeback. Ponds would have called time out if he could. But the truth is that if you can't beat G Town at home with a full roster, you can't beat anybody in the conference.

How do you overcome having a player like Justin Simon? 0-3 from three. 2-11 from the field. 1-2 from the FT line. 3 turnovers...refuses to acknowledge his weaknesses.

Down 3 with 3 minutes left and Simon took a three. He was already 0-2 and just 2-10 from the field at that point. How? He's the worst shooting perimeter player the Big East has seen since Dom Pointer...yet he lives on the three point stripe.

Clark & Simon a combined 5-26, including 2-12 from three. Really only two starters who played well were Heron & Figgy.

He was bad today but he essentially had to take that 3 you are talking about. Shot clock running down and Shamorie kicked it out to him.

Was a key issue, burning all TOs so early came back to bite them in ass.

I was rather excited when he got the job and who he brought in on his staff. I saw some unwelcoming signs during his first season, but gave him the benefit of the doubt being it was his first year and what he was working with per that team.

The past two seasons showed more warning signs (and, I still gave him a bit of a pass during his second season), and this season we're seeing even more serious red flags. No need to delve into it right now. But with the gauntlet we have coming up could potentially slam the door on this season.

Not to mention, a similar shot he's been hitting in his brief stint with the Johnnies.

Right after a brutal loss, this is what you have as a topic???

He’s just an extremely undisciplined player and the offense that Mullin employs just exacerbates his weaknesses. These kids are not talented enough to play an unstructured offense like this. You need top ten talent to run this type of offense

Especially since 2 of those timeouts were directly before scheduled tv timeouts. The coaching has to be smarter than that.
