Thrilled with the win, but what was Champ thinking on that last shot by UCONN? The only thing we couldn't afford to have happen was a 4 point play. Anyhow haven't been this excited all season. And not only won a few bucks, but helped my buddy Mike Maher win a few bucks too lol.
That you did. I was all in betting the other way until you guys got me thiinking. I knew the Italian in you had inside info. beers on me next time

Deal lol

Did we actually win this game? Great job, I despise UCONN, as I'm sure you all do as well. Posh is one tough mofo!

Wins like today are so critical for perception.  We desperately need to show progress to improve on recruiting.  If we can win seven or eight Big East games and maybe a game in the tournament, that will help.

Forgot how much fun it is to beat UConn! Welcome back to the Big East, you cow-tippin' carpet baggers!

Even Donny Marshall was saying the calls against us were questionable at best.

Some of you guys just love to beat up on Dunn. By far, our best defensive backcourt is Dunn and Posh. They are relentless and frenetic every second on the court. Today Dunn was 3-4 from the floor and 5-6 from the FT line. He had a couple of steals and assists. The 4 TOs weren't good, but no one is perfect. Cut the kid some slack. He comes to play every single game, gives 110% every minute on the court and his positives far outweigh his negatives. And he's a great kid and teammate to boot!

You called it big time. You should have spoken about yourself in the third person though for added emphasis. I loved it when Marillac used to do that

Even though I hate all things Uconn Donny is pretty fair in his games most of the time

Say what you will about CMA's recruiting but for the 2nd year in a row we will have a kid on the all BE frosh team and the one from last year will be no worse than 2nd team all BE this year, not to mention Wusu. Admittedly the JUCOs have been a disappointmment to date.

Our freshman point guard really grew up today.  Fantasic performance.

Only 2 FGs for Julian, but he contributed in other ways down the stretch.  I don't know why he went for the block on that last shot, but maybe he thought he could get away with crushig the guy.  After all, not touching the guy 2 possessions back resulted in a foul.

From the under 12 media TO of the first half on, we outplayed them pretty solidly.  It would have been great to have won on Saturday, but I also think that loss was a factor in this game, especially when it was only 48 hours later.  Even when we were sturggling early, you could tell they had a little extra oomph and determation in the game.  In fact, they probably overdid things early on (put a little too much on passes, overshot, etc.), but once they calmed down a bit, we got into our game.

I know the Gampel edge was somewhat off, and that UCONN was withouth their best player, but the Huskies could be 0-25, and if we beat them 21-20, it would still be a great win.

Nothing listed on the schedule until next Wednesday at DePaul.  I hate going into long breaks off losses, so this feels great in that sense, too.

Forget everything else the last 3 games overall I have at least IMO seen a difference in our defense becoming more cohesive ( far from perfect but improvement )

Roberts's return has been a factor (although he wasn't great today), but it also seems like Anderson has backed off the pressure a little bit.  We'll turn it up every now and then, but not 94 feet all the time.  I think it's kept the other teams' offense guessing a bit, and they seem a bit confused at times.

Wusu is a very good defender, and he's usually doing it against guys 3-4 inches taller then him.

Wusu defintely holds his own on defense. He's actually the guy I'll keep an eye on the most
