(POST-GAME) Butler, Tues. Feb. 12, 8:30pm, CBS SN / 970AM

We played poorly and still won. I think we match up very well with them and would love to see them in the Big East tournament after the bye.
 
Add another W to the win column. Ugly yup. But I will prefer a win like this than a blowout win. Shows we can win the close ones.
 
I hate to say this because I truly hope I’m wrong but I can’t see the BE doing any good in the Tourney. I don’t see parity, I just see mediocrity. Again, I hope I’m wrong.

Great to get the win took several punches and held on!!!! Showed some toughness/heart/hustle. Not always pretty but we played hard and won a good schoolyard fight. By the way as I said a number of times Heron needs to tighten up his dribble on penetration.
 
As a St. John’s fan I feel pretty confident saying we’re in no position to feel bad about a win. Learn from it and gladly take the W.

Assuming 4 teams get in, what's your under-over on number of wins the Big Est gets in the tournament? From what I saw tonight, I would put it at 3.
 
Sorry, I'm losing confidence in this team. We're 6-7 after taking on the cupcakes early in the season. If we make the tournament...and we probably will...we'll never make it to the second weekend.

What you saw tonight shouldnt have any bearing on what the BE does in the tournament because Butler wont make it and SJU is jekyll and hyde so who knows what they do if they get there.

The two teams that can win when in the tournament are Nova and Marq. They will get good seeds and have a chance to get to the second weekend.
