Made 68% of our 2s, 50% of our 3s and 90% of our FTs. The shooting numbers from the past 2 games are unsustainable but obviously the team is taking better shots and the offense is flowing way better than it was a month ago. Keep up the energy like this and we might actually see Friday night of the BET for once.

Great win and two outstanding efforts in a row. Looks we are really beginning to jell. The new guys now look more comfortable in their roles, are meshing well with their teammates and are really playing at a high level.

I'm so glad that our kids stuck together through thick and thin and "figured it out" with the help and support of our coaching staff. Can't wait until Wednesday night. Creighton, you're next!!!!

Atmosphere was solid, good student turnout again. I talked to my niece before the game - they gave away sweatshirts to the students but gave them coupons before the game and made them wait until halftime to get the shirts as at other games students were taking the gifts and walking out.

Whatever works.

Agree, and by the way in answer to your question as to if I'm a fan or not, if you notice my avatar, thats my step daughter who I brought to St. Johns some time ago to hang out with Mullin and George Johnson. Would anyone but a fan bring his three year old daughter to the school to hang out with those gents?

I guess Wheeler knew a lot more than us posters as he set up from beyond the arc early in the season. He can shoot it from 3, and even showed some nice jumpers off the dribble. Our offense was great tonight, but the defensive energy was there for the last 33 minutes.
 
Dont know about everyone else, but I'm pretty sure this is a final four squad. Seriously though, if everyone is on their game, this team can make some noise, very disruptive.

Brilliant game.  Posh is God--makes everyone else better.  As good as this was, I don't think we beat Butler on December 23 when the game was originally scheduled as the team was a work in progress and Julian was injured.  Maybe CMA is right about the time it takes for a team to blend/know each other on the floor.  47 assists in the last 2 games--insane.  I said that Posh needed to increase his assists per game and he is up at least 1/game.  He is "the straw that stirs the drink".
 
Creighton will not be looking forward to Wednesday imho. Notice the Is Anderson the Guy thread is quiet tonight lol.
