(POST GAME). Boston College (@Mohegan Sun), Mon., Nov. 30, 6p, ESPNU / 970 AM WN
Whew. Welcome back Champagnie, he was certainly the presence we needed, great game for him. Lot to like, some things to be nervous about, but they are young and very entertaining. This will be a fascinating season. 3-0 start, on to BYU.
I agree. Hopefully, CMA 40 minutes of hell entices more recruits. Cuffe jr. are you watching./

Really enjoy this team. Excellent recruiting.
Not happy with their getting the ball inbounds off BC's press.
Once again, too many easy penetrations resulting in our big men committing fouls.
Disappointed in maintaining a fast pace with two minutes on the clock. Work the clock forcing them to commit fouls.
Love Williams looking more like he did at the end last season, nothing forced..
Impressed with our foul shooting - I think we finished with 20 out of 26.
If Compagne continues to play as he did last night, he should easily make first team Big East, and such confidence in every move and shot.
Posh playing like he's ready for the rookie of the year in the BE. And why not!
Can't wait for BYU's game..

I have asked you previously to refrain from such comments. Consider this a warning. You don’t like the post skip over it, ignore it , but don’t resort to personal attacks.

This is a bad comparison, but in terms of results, Posh steals from behind remind me of Walt Frazier's ability to sneak up from behind and swipe the ball with very quick hands. Can't remember when we had someone who did that as well as Posh.
Posh has certainly shown he will rip you if you get sloppy, but Erick Barkley and Marcus Hatten should be the benchmark for SJU pilferers. Malik Sealy and Shamorie Ponds were adept as well.
I cannot recall a more consistently intense and tenacious on the ball defender then Posh. Matt Brust comes to mind, but he didn't have anywhere near Posh's athleticism. But I may be forgetting some guys.

What I was referring to is posh"s talent for going after the ball after an inbound pass following an sju basket or right after opponents get a defensive rebound. I dont remember the guys mentioned doing that so well. Some of the others were adept at playing passing lanes and picking off passes but posh has gotten steals right after sju baskets which are back breakers.

Good call Moose. 3 steals per game in his time here is pretty impressive.
They're getting better game by game, you can see it. Champ and Greg just had their best coll. game to date. The young bucks came right in and made sju alot more exciting. I want to see them correct the mistakes that they had at the end of the Bible bc game. Keep getting better.
Let's be the surprising team in the b.e. this year.

Why not us?

I know, I was just adding to what you said. Not contradicting it.

For my money, Barkley and Hatten were just as tenacious. That being said, I hope Posh becomes the programs all time steals leader.
