I’m blown away right now.

Extend Mike Anderson right now I don’t even care what his contract is
 
This was a great win for this team!! We have to stop taking our foot off the gas late in games when we have a lead. We start playing the clock too soon.
 
Almost gave me a heart attack at the end, but what a win!

Mike Anderson is a keeper. Never felt more confident in a SJU coach before. What a fun team this is.

Maybe we'll be receiving some votes for the top 25 next week?! Unbelievable considering the expectations coming into this season. I'm floored.

cma is a blessing to SJU.
 
Yeah on paper, looking at rosters against their paid-to-play guys, we had no business in the game. We were also without arguably our best player. Great coaching by Anderson getting our team prepared. We are a lot less talented than them. We won on toughness and defense. As bad as we were down the stretc, we were amazing in the first half and basketball is a game of runs. Zona mixed defenses which made it hard on us and we have VERY little offensive talent on this team. We were able to hold on barely, but the win is all that counts. Imagine what Anderson will be able to do as the talent increase over next few years? Congrats to these guys tonight though. They got it done in a big way.
 
Man that game made me so nervous. Played a great first half, and was a little tentative in the 2nd, but they did like good teams do and found a way to win. I really like this team, there's not a weak link in the rotation, this team has legit depth.

On a side note refs were terrible this game, called any little touch fouls, they single handily gave Arizona a chance. They went 7 minutes without a field goal and cut the lead from 15 to 5 points doing that. Bill Walton is a Pac 12 guy and he even said some of those fouls that were getting Arizona to the line so much was ridiculous.

Will be up this week for holiday and staying to go to the Butler game on NYE. Can't wait!!
 
This is just insane. At this point of a rebuilding year to be 11-2 with two top 25 wins. Not in my wildest dreams would I have thought we’d be here. Absolutely dream start to the CMA era.

Great hire tonight when St. John’s beat Arizona. Was he a bad hire when they lost to Vermont at home and Arizona State? I’m smart enough to judge him over first few years, not first 13 games.
 
What is very impressive is that despite my saying the guys were choking on offense with bad shots and missing so many foul shots, when they went down by a point with under a minute.....they found that will to win and took the game back. That was a gut check that shows their internal fire.
We all wish they could shoot better, but you can’t ask for more effort and heart.
 
It’s also a road win against a top 16 team. Extremely good for our NET. This win very well could push us into the post-season of some sort if we do well enough in the Big East and don’t collapse. Certainly need a healthy Heron for offense though.

This guy is such an idiot. He called him a bad hire and Anderson has almost 400 wins to his record. Maybe judge his overall body of work.

First of all, what an incredible win. Love this team and love the job Anderson’s done to date.

What’s up with this guy Goodman? Did Anderson sleep with his wife or something? Is this guy a real journalist? His comments are beyond unprofessional. He comes off as a frustrated child.
 
Significant to beat solid team away from home and helps in confidence department when on road in brutal BE.
