Considering how he has no clue how to even get to SJU, there's a good chance that he also has no clue about the facilities. Please, whatever you do, don't anyone give him directions to the school before he signs a contract

Our athletic training facility is a basketball facility with 4 courts. What else do you need to practice basketball??
After, you do some weights and take a shower.
We don't need a dedicated gourmet chef and 40 flat screen televisions.
What's next? A team of hairstylists who can braid hair?
I want my athletes to be lean and mean. I'm not concerned about where they can get a ponytail and their hair dyed.
I want them taking 100 free throws after practice.
If they don't shoot 70% or better I want them to shoot another 100 until they do.
 
I don’t know whether it is true but I was once told that construction of Alumni Hall on the new Jamaica campus started before construction of the Library.
 
Once again, every single coach that we've ever had here, including Norm, has gotten NCAA level to come here in spite of our subpar facilities. And some of you guys think that Pitino is worried about getting talent here? Stop it.

All those things you say they don't need are good recruiting tools. So is the name Pitino though.

Of course he knows where the St John’s Campus is located . I was having dinner at the Sly Foxx in 87 and had to take a leak .. The guy standing next to me as we relieved ourselves was Pitino . I commented on what a great job he was doing coaching Mark Jackson . He smiled and said he knew Mark had the right stuff all along in College and just needed a little tuning to be a great pro .
