Have to agree Avon. This is the only player I want to transfer but not likely. Worst mix of players ever recruited by guy known for recruiting. Time for a fire Tony Chiles thread. lol

I saw DLo in Taffner today, there is enough going on without posting something that is definitely not true. I have no idea what is on his mind or what he is thinking but he was in Taffner around 2pm today !!!!

If our -players leave and Lavin isnt fired (which he wont be because we dont even have a president in place to pull the plug on this disaster), the worst thing he can do is start bringing in a bunch of Phil Greene-caliber players to pollute our already bad roster just because we need bodies, and unfortunately this is what will happen. The next coach then is left with a lot of fat to trim and extra work to do. Not a good situation we are looking at one bit.

Must be frustrated by the amount of unwarranted playing time and free reign he has received...I don't want to be with any team that will have me

The point to take away from this shouldn't be that Phil is definitively transferring or not. I think the larger picture indicates that half the team is rumored to be thinking of leaving via one avenue or another. That bigger picture is what's troubling.

D'angelo - rumored to have thought about leaving last summer
Jordan - rumored to have been close to transferring over the winter
Jakarr - gone
Hooper - gone
Oebkpa - thinking of transferring now
Greene - thinking of transferring now

In less than a year, half the team has come close to leaving, or has actually left the program. Even if Phil and Obekpa stick around, this is still a bad sign.
