There's a very real chance that we may lose more games than last year. Besides DePaul at home what other game can we honestly take? Disappointing to say the least. I'm gonna wait until the end of next season to judge this current régime. There is no excuse after we add Simon, Clark and Brown. There will have a full complimented roster that has some experience and size. We need to produce winning basketball.

Expecting any minute for a phone call from St John's soliciting a donation. SMH (happened last two weeks-I spared the caller by not answering).

Agreed, the defense is the problem. They just don't look like they want to put in the effort on to the defensive end.
 
Last year we had no pg. Mullins first year, complete pass. . We look just as bad this year. Program in deep trouble. We looked good against Tulane and Fordham . Maybe we all underestimated Amars impact on the games LOL. For some reason or 3 best players Bash,Ponds and Lovett all had bad games.
 
That 22 to 1 stretch was the game for them.
I simply cannot comprehend any rationale for not using timeouts to stop it or at least try to break our shocked players daze.
We played ok At the start of both halves actually. Not good but no worse than Penn. but we need to adjust faster to shifts in the pattern of what is happening.

The sad thing is I was really looking forward to next season. Thought that would be our breakout year, not anymore.Have to accept the fact that we are bottom dwellers.
 
Ponds 3 for 17. We're not going to win many games with him doing that. Fortunately, one thing I am confident of is that being an abberation.

vThats a nice viewpoint but we added Ponds ,Bash ,Lovett and Owens and last years freshman have more exp. and we look no better than last year, which is hard to do,

More to the point-please stop with the we outscored them in the second half nonsense. PS was up 23 at the half they don't have to outscore us in the second half to not only win but win in a blow out. Cruise control garbage time second half means diddly squat.

When things went sour he looked disinterested as if he basically gave up. For this game anyway.
