Penn State Game

All we needed was1 foul shot made at the end, and they out score is by more than 20 from the line.

Ballgame!

We had our chances, but blew it at the end of regulation. Not to mention, we kept fouling them in OT. They are a 75% FT shooting team. No way that was gonna work out in our favor.

So hard to judge when following on GT, but play-by-play reads like 'Karr is killing us tonight...

In my opinion he really did... not great shot selection, wild around the rim missing shots, missed the huge free throw at the end of the game and the stupid foul on the three point shooter...

But the team isn't well coached, the kids makes lots of not great decisions.. LOTS of them. Obekpa getting a rebound up 2 pts in over time and chucks up court for a home-run type play and it's intercepted... Harrison definitely forces shots too much during this game as well... he just drives toward the basket basket a lot and hopes he gets fouled.

We actually blew it twice.... Sampson foul on a 3-point shooter and Harrison hitting one of two.

And from following the game tracker we missed 2 in the last 10 seconds. Unbelievable.

NY's team can't get out of the 1st round of NY's tournament....smh

I am worried about a G Tech team tomorrow.
Wow the doom and gloomers have it now..
No way to sugar coat it a terrible loss to a average team.

This team has no I repeat no Bball IQ, think Lavin gets athletes but not ones who think the game.

I said the same thing to a poster about a year ago. He wasn't sure that was the case at the time. The same person hit me up a couple of weeks ago, and that was one of the first things he said to me. This time in agreement.

I'm not totally blaming those particular players (as, it's not all their fault), but sometimes one has to think while on the floor.

For example: I didn't know Obekpa tried to throw an outlet pass with us up by 2 in OT (Gametracker only stated that he had the ball stolen from him). I read it was a horrible decision. One poster stated he threw it into double-coverage. Basically, stating it had no chance of hitting the planned target. Can anyone here verify it?

That just isn't smart play. Say for instance, if he holds onto the ball, and we go down and score, and goes up by 4 or 5. That could've been the ballgame. One has to properly think.
