Given the post below from the reliable Happy, I still don't understand how this might happen unless Slice agrees to forego a substantial amount of money. Why would the University eat his salary by letting the guy walk to go coach for another program?

I want Slice here in a big way. He is undoubtedly an asset and could make huge contributions.

That said, if this rift is still lingering, maybe he should just walk. We need to maintain positive energy throughout the rebuilding process. No time for infighting among coaches.

I'm not sure where this came from but there is no fighting between coaches on this staff.. Are they all best friends?? No .. But a lot is being misinterpreted by many. Slice is not walking unless he gets paid to walk.

Now I can breathe and be calm Knight, as if it we're Day...no rejection of our staff or school, no reflection on SJU's desirability as a destination, none of the "BIG BOYS" sweeping the recruit off his feet...

Tis now, after your poignant post, that I can breathe and be calm - by the way not so easy for veterans of abuse - about our recruiting both day and knight.
Camelot! We are the Camelot of the recruiting cycles.
