I'd be pretty in favor of Pecora as a special assistant/advisor to the program. Yes, he did very poorly at Fordham but the fact is he has led 2 programs in this area and this staff is really in need of some experience. Personally, I would've hired like someone as Tim Welsh or possibly even Mike Rice as the assistant to replace Slice. Both have had time pass since each's wrongdoings and I think each would come in with a chip on their shoulder with something to prove. Mike Rice would be especially valuable as he currently coaches a number of kids we're recruiting from that Team Rio AAU squad. However, it sounds like Richmond is the choice for the assistant spot, so I think there's only a benefit to bringing in Pecora in a special assistant/advising role.
