Just remember most teams don't play more than 11 guys at most
 
 Excellent news!! If Chandler doesn't qualify I would be very happy with Phillip Nolan also. He sounds like a player that would fit our system really well.
 
Behind Jakarr, I saw Orlando as the next important recruit. You add another athletic forward to the line and you'll be in business.

I agree, I always thought, from what was written on this board that he much more physically developed than Obepka and obviously since he older and has had much more playing experience against better competition in Junior College that he was more able to come in and help us immediately and have an instant impact. More than Obepka would.

Depending on what happens with recruiting from here on out, he may be playing there, so I actually think he should remain listed as a C until further notice.

Agreed.
He's not gonna see minutes at the PF slot.
 
 There everyone happy now? Does it matter what position we list him at? Maybe I'll change it to PG. Let's be happy we added a big man. Considering we run so much zone does it matter if he is a center or forward?
 
 agree...his listing doesn't even matter. And as far as his actual position...he may be charged with guarding the opposing 5 but offesively we won't be playing a traditional 1,2,3,4,5 offense anyways so even if you label him a 5 he will be playing offense more like a PF most of the time anyways. I think both sampson and sanchez coild both equally move with the ball or play in the paint. They wil be fun to watch.

 By what I have seen of Orlando I was most impressed with how fluid he was. He looked like a SF out there and handled the ball smoothly, yet was able to play big. He impressed me but I still think we need a true big man. Hes more of a PF then a center. Michael Chandler or Christian Obekpa would be great, since Orlando can get by a couple of minutes at C.
 
The thread was PF but today was changed to center. I changed it back to PF but it was changed to PF/C. I think he's a 4/3 and not a 5 but I'm not going to keep changing the thread title. If anyone has doubts there will be another 5 on the team next year and that 5 and Gift will be our primary centers. Jakarr and Orlando will play 3/4. Yes there will be times and match ups where Orlando and Jakarr will be the "5" in the lineup with someone like Amir and Dom in there as well.
 
Are there any videos we can link into to watch him and his battery-mate? i only was able to see him on you-tube video of the game "DR vs. Pros" thing in Louisville that some posters posted on this thread a while back.
