Ok guys who's next???

 The name that has been bandied about behind the scenes is IMO a lot better than Obekpa.  Fwiw, my gut tells me Obekpa will head to Cincy and Sanchez will be one of our 2 bigs that Dave on JJ mentioned. I think Cooley gets An O-fer with the 3 he coveted.

Thanks! Should have said, IMO Obekpa highly unlikely, SJU gaining traction w Sanchez and another big being courted. On the last point, not sure he is better than Obekpa in long run.

I think he is. Obekpa has a long, long way to go to be a viable offensive player. He's also a tweener as a center. Obekpa is a nice player, especially on defense. The "other" guy is a bit bigger and much better on offense. Don't get me wrong. I like Obekpa, but as he said, his heart is not here amongst other things. Fwiw, I also think Sanchez is a heck of a player and athlete.

It's not Andrew Young, either. Lavin hasn't seen Young in action. It's a big from the 2011 class (it's not Pelle, either). ;)

I remember Chandler being discussed here a year or so ago but at the time it seemed although he was talented, he had a lot of issues. Has something happened to change that?

So did Chandler prep this year? If so, where and how were his stats?

This past season he was at Faith Baptist Prep in Brandon, Fla. I couldn't find his stats.
Chandler averaged 19.0 points, 12.0 rebounds, 4.0 blocks and 2.0 assists per game as a senior.
 
 so when coach, dunlap?, made a trip to fl to see morris, was it in fact to go see michael as well? Talk about an ace in the hole. Ccant imagine didnt do his homework on this kids background.
 
 assuming chandler comes, and assuming coach did his homework and has decided the UCF recruiting stuff and chandler's indecisiveness/immaturity aren't an issue (which if he comes one would assume they aren't) a class of felix, jakaar, branch and chandler ( and possibly sanchez) is easily one of the top ten incoming classes in my oponion and it would have to scare other BE coaches to know that lavin can out recruit most of them despite being sidelined with cancer recovery and having a losing season

No doubt top 10. Three top 50 players and a likely JC AA. Add a shooter and a versatile player and defensive stopper like Balamou... No doubt top 10 quality.

maybe i am wrong but i think he was referring to balamou as the shooter/defender

 My guess is we will see Sanchez and Morris commit next week.Paultzmans comments about buying a Dominican flag is swaying me .
