You don't care about Marcellus working out?
Damn
Who pissed in your Cheerios this morning
Great to see. I see this kid improving so much over next 2 years.Great attitude goes a long way and that also plays well with a guy like CMA

Hoping for a poor man's Tyrone Corbin/Roosevelt Jones skill set from him.

Nah, usguard wants to maintain the aura of a man of mystery and keep people guessing.:)

Have our basketball players reported to school?

Good question. I would love to hear if they starting working out or practicing yet? how is posh looking etc?
ME was as pleasant a surprise last year as I can remember.
I also can’t recall a player that has made that much improvement from year 1 to 2. Apparently a very hard worker, looking forward to seeing more improvement.
Yes but 5 to play 4 is also in play. Steere is done in spring 2023 no matter how much he played/s. So maybe he didn't lose a year of eligibility, but given how little he played in his first two years they were essentially lost.
No I get that I was simply addressing the notion that he sat year as if that is the equivalent of "losing a year."

He never redshirted so even if he did not get a waiver he could still sit a year and not lose any eligibility..

Has anyone heard anything with regard to filling that last scholarship for this season??

Still looking I hear

Ran into a bunch of Bosco coaches and athletic department personnel at an "outside/open air" gathering recently. They can't speak highly enough about Earlington. His work ethic, his improvement under Anderson, and as a kid. Also give props to Anderson and the staff. They think he is going to be Artest-lite before all is said and done at SJU. Obviously they are biased with their love for the kid but these guys are also quick to knock or critique others who have come through the program. They view Cellus differently.

I like Roberts, think Toro will be pretty good if he stays healthy, and I think Moore will be pretty damn good for us . . . but I'm good with Earlington starting next to Champagnie for the next two seasons.

Congratulations to all.
Jalen Rosemund was one of two who made the team out of walk-in tryouts last year and practiced with the team.

A clear testament to the excellent character of Coach Anderson. 7 of his scholarship players are All BE Academic, certainly a first for our men’s bball program.
Has to be an excellent recruiting pitch.
