Off Season Tidbits

In last picture Paultzman posted Sears & Champagnie look about the same height (assume that is 6'6" or 6'7"). Let's not judge any of these kids abilities to help us until we've at least seen them play a game for us. I love Sears attitude, but only time will tell.

Can't argue with that.

How tall do you think he is?

No idea. But I’ve heard from people who stood next to Julian he’s legit 6-7 maybe even 6-8.

photographs are not good indicator. Always been pet peeve of mine. The angle the stance. I can’t explain it. I just know my doctor tells me about the wrong way I stand all the time. ;)

Oh great. Now Mike Zaun will complain when the stuff isn’t for sale on the website ;)

Lol...not so much that stuff. All I ask for (and I know it's a ton) is to have our jersey logo on sweatshirts and t-shirts. Seriously, look at Darren Meenan the owner of the 7 Line...he realized he could make cooler designs fans wanted to buy and the traditional gear was boring. Well, now he makes a ton of money because he can do it better. Someone let me use the trademarks, give me someone to design and maybe we can crowdfund a t-shirt printer on here so I can do it myself (may be quicker)! And before someone else says it, allow me...Mediums will not be in stock :).

In last photo to right of coach, Moose may have identified a local talented walk on. :)[/quote]

I was just about to make a post asking who he was. Do you guys know his name?

Tom O’Connell. Three sport athlete in high school on Long Island. Played lacrosse at Maryland for four years and won a national championship.

As far as walk ons go, he's pretty talented. Wouldn't be shocked to see him in non-garbage time, assuming he can shake off four years of rust.

If the O’Connell kid has any value, it will likely be as a defender. Kid play defensive midfield I. d1 lacrosse which requires good defensive techniques and foot speed, guarding some extremely fast players.

Doubt that equates to lateral quickness unfortunately.
