Nuri Leaving

He did get great advise. He was the starting PG at SJU getting plenty of exposure and top coaching. Now he will be playing for a mediocre Rider program ,that no one cares about.LOL

It truly is some bad advice he's getting. If he thinks it will be easier to make it to the nba from Rider, then so be it. He should certainly put up some decent numbers in that league.

Jason Thompson was a lottery pick from Rider. Lindsay is a good enough athlete to play in the NBA. He needs to go to Rider and shoot 10,000 3-pointers a day in practice. If he can improve his range, he can definately play in the NBA. I think he could be just as good as Mo Williams. I never thought Mo Williams was an NBA player when he played at Alabama.

Moose, We have all kinds of posts. Some that are angry, some off the wall and some extremely well done. When a guy like you says something I listen and watch real hard..........the black cloud statement sounds ominous!

Get real; the only way Lindsay gets to the NBA is to purchase a ticket to a game.

Lindsey doesn't even have an average outside shot. Had he stayed at St.John's her would have had to fight to keep his starting job.

When you think of Nuri Lindsey think Lloyd Daniels.

For Nuri's sake I wish that was true Otis but Lloyd Daniels could shoot the rock.
Terrible move by Nuri to go to Rider where he can dominate physically but not have to work on his weaknesses which are plentiful.

If you think of what Nuri brought to SJU in his brief tenure, Rider will suit him just fine. He will put up a ton of shots, average over 20 ppg, and won't eat the ball every time he penetrates. He was probably shocked to find the lack of interest in him from any major program.

Believe it or not nbadraft.net had Lindsey as a 1st round pick in the 2012 draft along with Harkless (projected lottery). He got cold feet and decided to transfer home where Rider has 4 players from him home state. Lindsey will score 20ppg like Quincy Roberts is doing at Grambling State, but no one will look at a player that shines at a low rank school. Just another transfer from the system that won't find the same success out of the Big East. BTW Omari Lawrence 0.5 ppg at K-State another wasted talent.

No where near as good as Mo Williams who was almost an instant success in NBA. And your advise that Nuri should take 10,000 3 pt shots a day in practice is woefully short-maybe 1 million outside shoots a day will improve his nonexistent shooting ability.

Scouts will look at talent wherever its playing. Rider has as many guys in the NBA right now as STJ. That said Nuri won't get a look down there unless his game changes and his shooting skills grow exponentially. 6-3 combo guards with range to 12 feet don't cut it at the next level.
