Really, anyone who buys into a twitter mistype as a story is just plain silly going for the left wing bait.

In the same day where a so-called comedian make a funny about a severed Trump head, one could only imagine Eric Holder launching a Civil Rights investigation and playing the race card once again had this been done to Obama. Complicit media would seize upon it and drag it out for weeks attributing it to the racist Republican party.

The narratives are sickening.

I can't wait to hear the Hollywood elite going crazy of Trump pulling out of the Paris accord. Once again, he is refusing to finance all member participants who had to be wooed with billions of dollars to sign up. While our manufacturing moved to places where they can manufacture cheaper and with less regulations, Trump's actions will be a signal to the world that the US is no longer footing the bill to our own detriment.

Agree with you Beast, but I am afraid you can't exclusively pin this behavior on the left. The stuffed Obama dummies hung and set on fire were equally reprehensible. Moronic behavior knows no political boundaries.

I am fine with renegotiating the Paris agreement in a manner that balances regard for industry and environmental responsibility. That said, many American companies have re-tooled for a clean energy economy and several CEO's of major companies petitioned Trump to remain in the agreement. So, I am not sure it is going to have the intended impact.

Agreed, but I would say that the details here leave much to be desired. The issue in the nitty gritty is about the global redistribution of US wealth, financed by tax payers (you know the people who really work), not the faction of US elite such as Al Gore who would've actually gained handsomely from the Paris accord for the business deals. In terms of numbers, about $400 billion of tax payers money was initially earmarked for what is termed climate mitigation (read rich "green" energy companies sucking up massive sums of tax payers money to put in place green energy projects in poorer countries for an issue that can largely be termed a fraud, i.e., the link between carbon dioxide and global warming remains unproven), whereas the climate is always changing, and it is natural coming out of ice ages or warming periods, but even if climate varies naturally but erratically, and puts the poorest of the poor of the world under real stress of survival then why was only $20 billion earmarked for something called climate adaptation? I'll leave the answers for you to guess ...

I'm fine with renegotiation but when Rex Tillerson and XOM are for the deal then I have to give some thought that maybe everyone else might be right.

As far as hollywood people they can go fuck themselves because anyone flying in a private t plane has 0 credibility to talk about climate change

Much respect for your objectivity MJ Maher, Rex Tillerson, former CEO of Exxon/ Mobil is behind this. Just finished reading an article about the amount of money Exxon contributed to various Republican legislators supporting this move. This is Politics as usual.

While I may be nominally a Democrat, there were a lot of decisions during Obama's presidency that disturbed me. I am also not a fan of the Clinton's, because as a 68 year old Black male, I know that they took my people for granted.

What truly disturbs me with the Obama/Trump debates is the overt racism involved in peoples attitudes. After the election, Christian conservatives stated finally a President whose values I can identify with. This totally confused me because Obama had one wife and two children and to my knowledge, no affairs. While Trump had three wives and four children. He was also carrying on affairs while married to his two previous wives, Christian values???

The most blatant of all, was those people who cited that Melania Trump was an upgrade over Michelle Obama as First Lady. I can't see how anyone can honestly say that a woman who was a model, and married a billionaire, is an upgrade over a woman who is an Ivy League educated lawyer.

What Trump's election has done is let the Racism that has existed in our country forever, come to the surface. As a citizen, I am deeply afraid of what the future holds if we cannot be objective in our views of others.

If you think I am wrong, ask yourself this. "Could a Black man with four children by three different women, who committed adultery been elected President" ????

As a country, we have to do better if we want to survive. There is a middle ground if we take the time to look for it objectively.

Respectfully,
Evangelical Christians got behind Trump not based on his multiple marriages but for restoration of religious rights of Christians in this country. Obama's initial salvo describing middle America Christians as clinging to their bibles and their guns set the tone for his administration's disdain for Christian values. Even in 2016, in responding to yet another radical Islamic terrorist act, Obama commented, "Historically, Christians have done far worse things." Yet, this was the same Obama who declared himself a Christian during the 2008 debates, but never again. When you examine the so-called Christian Church he belonged to, but didn't attend too often, you will discover a sham called liberation theology, which isn't Christian at all, and one that espoused a deep hatred of America (Rev. Wright's "God Bless America? No! God damn America".

I often say Trump's election is a manifestation of the Obama presidency. Here are just some of the Obama administration's actions that Christians found offensive:

June 2013 – The Obama Department of Justice defunds a Young Marines chapter in Louisiana because their oath mentioned God, and another youth program because it permits a voluntary student-led prayer.

February 2013 – The Obama Administration announces that the rights of religious conscience for individuals will not be protected under the Affordable Care Act.

January 2013 – Pastor Louie Giglio is pressured to remove himself from praying at the inauguration after it is discovered he once preached a sermon supporting the Biblical definition of marriage.

February 2012 – The Obama administration forgives student loans in exchange for public service, but announces it will no longer forgive student loans if the public service is related to religion. [7]

January 2012 – The Obama administration argues that the First Amendment provides no protection for churches and synagogues in hiring their pastors and rabbis.

December 2011 – The Obama administration denigrates other countries’ religious beliefs as an obstacle to radical homosexual rights.

November 2011 – President Obama opposes inclusion of President Franklin Roosevelt’s famous D-Day Prayer in the WWII Memorial.

November 2011 – Unlike previous presidents, Obama studiously avoids any religious references in his Thanksgiving speech.

August 2011 – The Obama administration releases its new health care rules that override religious conscience protections for medical workers in the areas of abortion and contraception.

April 2011 – For the first time in American history, Obama urges passage of a non-discrimination law that does not contain hiring protections for religious groups, forcing religious organizations to hire according to federal mandates without regard to the dictates of their own faith, thus eliminating conscience protection in hiring.

February 2011 – Although he filled posts in the State Department, for more than two years Obama did not fill the post of religious freedom ambassador, an official that works against religious persecution across the world; he filled it only after heavy pressure from the public and from Congress.

January 2011 – After a federal law was passed to transfer a WWI Memorial in the Mojave Desert to private ownership, the U. S. Supreme Court ruled that the cross in the memorial could continue to stand, but the Obama administration refused to allow the land to be transferred as required by law, and refused to allow the cross to be re-erected as ordered by the Court.

October 19, 2010 – Obama begins deliberately omitting the phrase about “the Creator” when quoting the Declaration of Independence – an omission he has made on no less than seven occasions.

May 2009 – Obama declines to host services for the National Prayer Day (a day established by federal law) at the White House.

April 2009 – When speaking at Georgetown University, Obama orders that a monogram symbolizing Jesus’ name be covered when he is making his speech.

April 2009 – In a deliberate act of disrespect, Obama nominated three pro-abortion ambassadors to the Vatican; of course, the pro-life Vatican rejected all three.

February 2009 – Obama announces plans to revoke conscience protection for health workers who refuse to participate in medical activities that go against their beliefs, and fully implements the plan in February 2011

Is that enough?

This is your response to Panther2? Wow. This post and the source of the info is like a poster child for how our country is divided. Guess what, if you copy and paste the timeline of facts listed above, you'll see it word for word on websites like: wallbuilders.com, glocktalk.com, incrementilist.com, followthemaster.org, thechristmasconspiracy.com, among many others. So without checking how many of those instances are literally half the story, or not even factually correct, you just contributed to the bigger problem, on a fan forum for St John's basketball nonetheless.

Yeah, you sound pretty objective.

The cattle must be starving. There are now so many straw men in the last few pages of this thread that there is nothing left for them to eat. I have shared my idiosyncratic views of President Trump privately with many of you. Here the issue for me is that there is an emerging growth and development energy technology that is not only green but will put the totalitarian fossil fuel extraction economies at risk (Russia, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Venezuela, et al) if they insist on agendas of political or human rights mischief, (sorry guys but our order this year is lower and actually we've been able to underbid you with some of your other customers, and I thought that news leak during the German elections was artful, too bad the source was discovered). I look forward to leadership that puts us in that position and do not rule out that President Trump might decide to provide it. Slick is giving lip service to Paris, putting in green energy development with China and India as your biggest customers, and containing the malevolence of the extraction tyrannies. I don't rule out President Trump following this path, assuming the Russians have not already done him irreparable damage.

Do you want to see the footnotes that show where this summary came from. Look, Panther wondered why evangelical Christians aligned with Trump vs. Clinton, and this list is a summary of why. We are speaking about millions of Christians who feel their right to exercise their faith was being trampled by liberalism. That's the short answer. The refusal of the left to acknowledge this will not only further the divide in this nation but contribute to the continued demise of the liberal party.

This is why Dems favor Muslims and illegal immigration - by and large these are 2 very large immigrant populations, and if Dems favor them, those groups end up being Democratic, which tilts elections. However, what they are losing is middle America, and they miscalculated just how much Clinton and liberalism offends middle America. The fact is they lost an election that if you followed all those charts that popped up everywhere that even days before the election showed Clinton having a 93% chance of winning, they thought they had in the bag. So much that the gigantic Clinton fireworks show was scheduled weeks in advance of election day.

Respectfully, I just don't see how introducing race into this discussion is fruitful. When it comes to immigration policies, the Catholic Church is much more amenable to the position of the left than Evangelicals. Ben Carson is a black man also, but well regarded by Conservatives and Evangelicals as well, but despised by the left. Clarence Thomas was despised by the left. In fact, just about any black Republican is strongly disliked. So to introduce race into this discussion invokes a much broader discussion of race and political orientation.

Just want to thank Beast for providing us with his lengthy list of Obama accomplishments. Never realized he worked so hard while he was in office. :cheer:

To summarize:
Little Sisters of the Poor

I'm fine with renegotiation but when Rex Tillerson and XOM are for the deal then I have to give some thought that maybe everyone else might be right.

And as far as The Georgetown situation referenced above, it was requested (not ordered) to cover the monogram. They complied. They should have stuck to their principles and suggested that the president go straight down to GWU.

I think there is all kinds of racism in many forms in this country. It's sad what that fuck or fucks wrote on Lebron's house in Cali. I agree with you that while I think we have come a long way I dont Trump would have been elected if he was black. By the same token I dont think Trump would have been elected if he was Jewish. I think a woman will be elected before someone who is jewish.

It annoys me like hell when politicians always highlight their religious faith when they run for office since a lot of them are phony. Personally I could care less about that stuff in a politician but that's just my opinion

Ahhhhh the hypocrisy of the left is great, they get away with calling Dr Ben Carson an Uncle Tom and all sorts of non sense strictly because of his beliefs. The left acts as if they have s monopoly on race and sexism. Bill Clinton say Barry should be carrying his luggage and it's oh that's nothing. Barry sits in a church for 20 years listening to a blatant racist, invites a life long race baiter criminal and anti Semite to the White House non stop. They have a rapper who sings about running trains on ho's and selling crack and so on and so on. It's actually comical to watch this playout

Remember when former Exalted Cyclops of the ku kux klan Robert Byrd - the longest serving senator in US history - casually dropped an en bomb on national television and afterwards he [strike]was drummed out of polite society[/strike] was reelected and had a bunch of buildings named after him? As an objective black man I'd have to say that he would have voted for Trump given the opportunity, because racisms.

I want to reiterate again that in no way shape or form am I related to this asshole. I've never thought he was particularly funny especially compared to me :)

What does the left think about this disgusting clip from one of their Trump bashing heroes ? Another phony who shows his true colors but honestly the Sasse guy is just as much a douche and he is worse than Billy Bush and the audience should be ashamed of themselves also
