I totally get that presidents bring in their own people but I dont like one bit this whole Preet Bharara thing ( I have no problem with replacing the other 45 ). I dont like what Trump and Sessions are doing here. Aside from the fact that Trump met with him months ago and asked him to stay on but Preet was doing a great job and draining the cesspool of NY politics along with many other things. This is the type of guy that Trump should be wanting to surround himself with

I think Bharara is collateral damage for the decision which IMO is in part a reaction to the slow rolling and obstruction to confirming Trump nominees and the never ending playing of the false Russian narrative, just speculation on my part.

The main question still lingers though why does conservatism as an ideology allows scientific knowledge to often co-exist with non-scientific or "superstitious" knowledge, while the leftist ideology has entrenched this epistemological break to the annihilation of traditional knowledge and superstition, and towards the precipitous slide into mass murder .... ?

Conservatives trust the wisdom that has been accumulated over the course of human experience. That includes both science and religion. Progressives believe that utopia is just around the next corner so it doesn't matter what's in the rear view mirror.

Agreed but this entails among other things seriously constructed blinkers, historical revisions and a solid propaganda machine to boot...

Well just to inform your approach, the cuisine is not so much akin to either the perpetrators of Pearl Harbor or Warsaw, if indeed, your patriotism or good conscious precludes such invites. We were colonized by the Brits, and we thank our lucky stars daily that it wasn't the Germans and Japanese. I mean imagine the efficiency ... well in our case on how we prepare curry

his tax returns weren't even that bad. He had an effective tax rate of around 25%. I dont have 1 wealthy client who has an effective tax rate of what the highest bracket is. They are all in the 20s

Obama I believe had an effective tax rate of 19%, while Sanders had 13%. Go figure ...That means that both relatively and absolutely Trump paid more taxes.

And exactly, where and when did it all go horribly wrong for the mainstream media that there is not even a simple recognition that 2 pages mean absolutely nothing or signal exactly the opposite. Bring back the National Enquirer, if it ever went out of circulation. What degradation ... if one does a cursory look at mainstream media (CNN, MSNBC, ABC and other outlets) particularly over the last year or so, ironically enough FOX IMHO comes out as the least partisan.
