Norvel Pelle

 All im saying is that if he had plans to be at SJU in december he wouldnt have his plans set to go back to cali during christmas. whether he comes to sju next year, thats another story, however I really dont see him here in december....amir on the other hand i cant wait to see him here in december

I don't think Pelle is coming in December. I'm dying to see him here next September.

I also do not believe he'll be here in December. I'm certainly hoping we'll see Pelle come next season.

We have to concentrate on the players we have and give them our attention. If and when the others come on board we can sing their praise. Lets put them on the back burner for now

The staff knows it. Even Dunlap mentioned it during media day. There will be one. Hope it's Pelle and even add another.
 
 I dont think that there has been any indications to lead us to believe he will or wont be here in december. He is probobly doing all that he can to gain his eligibility. Having him and garrett here makes this team that much better.

Telling friends that he is gonna be home at christmas sorta would infer that he won't be at sju since we have games during that time.
 
I believe Lavin will have an answer for whatever happens. I just hope this Big East garbage doesn't impact it. 
 
 Id be surprised if Norvel plays anywhere other then a JC next year. To me, going 1-3 on unenrolled, post-grad, non qualifiers is tremendous.

Why would he be at JC? Wasn't he only like a few classes away from qualifying for us? He has an entire year to get eligible....

Not sure what it actually means, but it "sounds" like he's weighing his options on whether to stay committed to St. John's or bail out and commit to San Diego State.
 
The first signing period I believe is next week. There's also a signing period in the spring, April or May. That said there is no "deadline" to sign. In fact players don't NEED to sign at all, though the LOI does in theory guarantee a kid a place on next year's team and that he won't be recruited over out of a roster spot - unless he signs with Calhoun in which case it guarantees him nothing at all.
 
 You can read this 1000 different ways. he may be getting grades later in the week and he is going to let st johns know if he is going to be here in dec. In the article on zagsblog about Sampson it stated that both garrett and Pelle are hoping to get into st johns in dec. that was according to their AAU coaches.

And for all we know that tweet has nothing to do with school. We just have to take a wait and see approach. and like I said before, I am enjoying watching this team and will enjoy even more if amir and pelle are here.

My guess would be that he gets his grades and will find out if he will be here in december or not......if he wanted to go to SDSU, it wouldn't make sense for him transfer to the other side of the country....and if he wanted to change his committment, why would he wait on the announcement?

Why do teenagers do any of the things they do?
You never know what might be going on in their heads at any given time
Trying to make logical sense of this situation is an exercise in futility IMHO
We'll find out what he plans to do soon enough...........
