NJIT

I like what I've seen from Dom, except for the first three he took. Shot has looked good just hasn't dropped. And he had that beautiful pass to CO for the and-1

Disagree on Dom, think he continues to improve

Always liked Pointer, but as an athlete you need to go with your strengths! He has not been a good shooter in the 3 yrs at SJU. He should rebound his arse off, and shoot within 10 ft of the basket. Love his attitude, but never lived up to his billing. If you recall, Dom was the highest rank recruit in that class of ours. Hope he goes out as a winner!

He tries to be a 1 man fast break and it never works. He doesn't understand that passing the ball up court is quicker than him dribbling into traffic and passing to a teammate late. He should have 5 dunks a game as the trailor in the break.

67-51 5:33 after Sheed hits a 3.

Sloppy play in the second half, no killer instinct. Free throw shooting has taken a step back since the first half.

Double doubles by Dom and CO. They'll need to continue that regularly against far better comp if there is to be any significant success this year.

Sheed putting on a passing display right now. And pointer now with double double. Good to see him hitting the boards hard

This team would be better served by NOT shooting the 3! Many coaches out there will prove to you mathematically that shooting the 3 is more efficient thus generating more points on an average. The problem with our team is that no matter how you do the math if your shooting less than 10% from 3 pt land, you will be much better off shooting a higher percentage shot! We are losing valuable possessions every time we chuck up a 3 and come up empty! Let's go with our strengths, not our deficiencies!
