Pacman Jones plans to appeal his $35,000 fine for ripping the helmet off of Amari Cooper while sitting on top of him and bashing his head onto the helmet. What is the basis of his appeal-that he should be suspended for at least a game and fined $100,000 as a repeat many times over offender?

Well, they have a Super Bowl title since then, so it has not all been bad.

Still, it looks like a mistake to bring Tom and Reese back, and also signing Eli to that extension. Sometimes, you just need to start over from scratch. Problem is, this does not look like a top-heave draft (that may change), so tanking may do them little good.
 
After last years disaster with the Jets (winning the last two games) that cost us Mariota, I realized that it is pretty hard to tank in the NFL. Too many players who are fighting for their short careers. Players and coaches that are not wired to lose in such a violent game. Other teams that may want to lose as well. Tennessee in our case.

Jets played well, I kept waiting for the Colts to get their act together but Luck was very poor and the Jets D came up big at the right times. If Fitzpatrick only plays half as well for the next few games, Geno stays on the bench. I hope Decker's knee is OK. Bowles is like a breath of fresh air now the blowhard is gone.
 
My Stillers take on the Ravens tonight. I'm in a no win situation as either we lose to the Ravens or we Win and I have to hear Steelers fans on FB moan about how they can't feel goot about winning with Vick as QB. These same fans still rock Big Ben jerseys without seeing the irony. (I gave my Roethlisberger jerseys away years ago) Anyways hopefully the game isn't as boring as I expect a AFC North match-up like this to be.
 
What was Pitt thinking on both of those 4th down plays?

How about Eli? 41/54, 441 yards passing, 3 td's and 11 yards rushing. The most impressive part is most of that last drive was done with Randle and Beckham on the sidelines.

I had Eli in my redmen.com league and desco still destroyed me. Probably because he wears a suit and tie on his couch and I wear shorts and sweatshirt
 
Also have Eli, also got killed. Benched Dalton for Eli, though, so at least that was worth a couple extra points.

Unfortunately, rest of my team sucked.

But in a close game that last drive would have ripped out my opponent's heart.
