Mullin still a great choice. If he's gung-ho into it. I have no doubt in my mind he can work with players on mechanics in every facet of the game better than anyone out there. Most will still have reservations which are founded.

To be fair, the article does not indicate that the university has given any thought to Pitino. It is a reach by Rubin that makes for a nice newspaper headline.

Pitino is not happening......let's stay focused.

Staying focused on what? Reading redmen.com? Perhaps you are negotiating a contract with Chris Mullin. The rest of us are reading press accounts and this board and making comments.

If we lose a great coach because you lost focus, OLV, I'm going to be pissed at you.

Paultzman - you are my favorite poster. Tell us we have Mullin. I am scared of Cluess and Mas. Bobby Hurley doesn't seem to be linked and I can't see any of the higher paid coaches. If it's Mullin, I will be so happy.
