If he does, I’ll order the pitchforks in bulk on Amazon.He’s not gonna make another statement about how we go .500 the rest of the season we’ll still make the playoffs, right?
It’s a good thing the Mets were able to avoid Paul Skenes or else they really might have had a tough series against the Pirates.
It’s been a combo of
1) Lindor hitting .167 in the last 15. He hasn’t been the same since breaking his toe
2) losing Senga
3) all the young kids not living up to the hype
4) Vientos forgetting how to hit
5) lack of progression in Alvarez
I’m not sure how they turn it around. Getting some SP returns will help, but it might be too late.
