A new St. John’s floor for MSG would be awesome but might not be practicle. It would mean the cost of the floor, assembling/disassembling it and storing it when not in use.

As it is now, all they do is change the logos/decals (they are adhesive “stickers”) on the Knicks floor. If our game proceeds a Knick game on the same date, they just have to remove the stickers and replace them instead of removing one court and installing the other one.

I personally kind of like when they leave the Knicks colors on the floor at MSG and add the St Johns logo. To me it helps enhance the fact that the game is being played on an NBA court, which only very few teams can claim they have as their home court.

For all of the complaints about the St. John’s mid court logo, it is in no shape or form worst than this old fashioned logo the Cleveland Browns went back to last year and as seen today:
