NCAA Tourney Thread

when my school's not in it, I root for the BE school, if no BE school is in it, I root for a NYC-area school, that's almost never the case, so then I root for the Catholic school, if there is no Catholic school, I root for the smallest school, if there is no small school I root against the big state school. Stupid philosophy but whatever.

First I root for SJU, then I root for the BE, then I root for the ACC. to loose. 4 missed free throws, down 1 , lost both rebounds .Tough way to loose. Really wanted to see UNC go down.
 
I am so impressed with Meeks, the NC big. He worked so hard in off season to lose weight and tone up his body. He also has great hands & catches ball in traffic superbly, a quality that really has hurt us.

If we can add a big who can rebound & catch the ball consistently, it will obviously further enrich our guard play. He does not have to be a star, just a competent, strong player.

Rooting against the crooked academic Carolina team. Angry at first at Bell for not boxing out, didn't realize he had 16 rebounds.Had to be very, very tired while playing most of the game.

Bell really bleeped up twice...didnt block out at all...may have cost them the game

When my school is not in it which is almost never, I root against the teams that have former St. John's targets on them and hope they get caught with a hooked who cries RAPE the day before the big game.
 
As a % of its student body, Gonzaga puts more graduates into the Peace Corps than any other University. Saint Gonzaga rejected all of his family's wealth and ministered to the poor and dying during one of Europe's worst plagues. Plus, "I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas" went there.

Even though if NC wins, one of my brackets probably finishes in the money, I am rooting for Mark Few and the Zags, small Catholic school, essentially a Big East profile, and that would be two years in a row that a football conference school didn't become National Champion.

The fouls and missed shots don't bother me at all ... as long as they're UNC's.
