Refs miss an obvious goaltend in Wichita State - Kentucky game. All 3 refs miss a layup smacked away after it hits off the backboard??
 
2 Sweet 16 teams. Don't think the new Big East has done that yet.

Don't look now but, however unlikely it is, the Pac 12 could send 1 team to each of the Regional final venues next week if things go their way. ;)
 
Big German Michigan Soph, who averaged about 3 points last year, has improved dramatically this season & is giving L'Ville real problems today. In my fantasy world, I would like to see Freudenberg show some real improvement year two. Usually does not work out that way here too often, but I can hope. :)

Freudenberg is a wild card for next year. Based on the delta between his freshmen year and Mullin's assessment of his ability, he is like another '17 recruit. Fingers crossed that there is something to the hype.

Historically, I have always liked Louisville going back to the Junior Bridgeman days and even during the Pitino days. But, once they went to ACC, that was it.
 
Wichita State had great opportunity..Never like when teams try to run clock without a lot of movement...Never seems to work out...
 
Kind of agree with Section3 on this one. Really poor offense on those last two possessions.

Have to say the Pac 12 is my second favorite conference. Show a lot of their games on FS1. Congrats to CTK's Alkins on the sweet sixteen.

Tough question, probably getting 4 in the FF but I don't think anyone will beat the 56 games either.

Someone will hit in 57 straight games eventually. Some mega bb conference may someday overwhelm the NCAA tournament. No school will ever reproduce what UCLA did under Wooden: four perfect seasons and 10 national championships in a row. Luigi (he's italian) Auriemma (11 NC total) need six more straight for the tie.

But the awful no-call aside, they looked lost -- panicky even -- in the last 1:30 or so. Really blew it. And now I've gotta root extra hard -- if it's possible -- for Duke to lose.
