Next game up Providence. Let's get the Big East off to a winning start

Prov is playing real hard but not hitting FTs and not finishing but still retake the lead. Interested to see if they can continue to play at this pace.

I can only imagine the reaction on here if we were losing by fifteen at the half in a play in game.

Unfortunately by now some of us are getting used to it :)

This is why I love the Big East, does anyone really think that UNC would ever post a tweet like this at Duke, Michigan at Ohio St, UCLA at USC? Granted those are longtime bitter and classic conference rivals, but you get the sense that the Big East schools really pull for each other more than other conference do for their members.

In the "Power Conference" scheme of things, we really do have an "us against the world" mindset, which is what makes our league so great.

they showed that on tv. That was pretty cool

Providence poised to blow this, very uninspired 2nd half. USC just carved up their zone. Cooley just went man to man but Providence just standing around on both ends.

That is as poor a display of lazy basketball as I have ever seen in the NCAA. Providence obviously thought they won the game in the 1st half, never saw a Cooley team play worse.

Hope this is not a harbinger of things to come for the BE but I am really surprised at this. Providence has just folded with no fight at all. 40-18 in the 2nd half. Down 15 at the half USC on the door up 5.

USC has 16 offensive rebounds and their 6'1 point guard has 10 boards.
