NCAA Tournament

Creighton blew that one themselves. The hook and hold by kalk was brutally obvious. He also missed two chippies and creighton got beat to a few 50/50 balls
Absolutely. I was all in for Creighton and understand that people love to watch scoring, but I admire SD State's toughness and defensive excellence. Tough loss, but it was definitely a foul at the end. SD State will be in the final.

The ref has to call that foul 10/10 times. It’s not like Nembhard was resting his hand on Trammell. It was a clear push which was evidenced by both players body motion.
If it was a clear push it would have clearly affected the shot. It did not. At best, that was a questionable call. But as others have pointed out, Creighton lost that game before that call.

Maybe not expect it, the ncaa Tournament crap shoot, anything can happen.
Maybe I should have

gonna be a long offseason thinking about that one for creighton fans.

winning in March is really really difficult, and when you get a break (playing a 15 seed in the sweet sixteen) you gotta start thinking it may be your year.

Tough one
That call reminds me of the 1989 NCAA Championship Game, Seton Hall vs Michigan.
Foul called on that the Hall with seconds left and that Michigan Giuard made the free throws.
Just don't think refs should call 'soft' fouls with seconds left and game is tied.

I agree the Hall got jobbed on that one. Rumeal Robinson was driving to the hoop and not in shooting motion. That was ticky tack.

Funny that the ‘Power 5’ money conferences will only have one representative in the Final Four. In fact only 3 Power 5’s made it to the elite 8.
Kansas State, Miami, Texas

Still think Texas is the best roster in the tournament and if they had Dylan Disu healthy they’d win the national championship

We’ll see what happens without him but that dude was huge for them

I'm not joking.

I'm talking when he fills up the roster with his guys, I'm expecting lots of Tournament runs deeper then the sweet 16

Then again with all the transfers in/out these days, maybe I shouldn't be expecting that.
Even pre transfer at Louisville RP made the Sweet 16 only 50% of the time. That said I'd settle for 33%. ;)

I arrived in Louisville for work and watched the last 30 seconds at an airport bar. then travelled to my hotel just a block from the Yum. A sad sea of blue on the streets. Have to assume the SD St fans were still inside.

I need Texas to make the finals to win my pool, but Miami looks like the better team so far. If Texas had Disu, don't think it would be this close but injuries part of the game.

Talk about some next level depth, Texas freshman Arterio Morris just drilled two 3s back to back

He hadn’t scored in the whole tournament until that… 4ppg on the year
