NCAA Tournament Thread

Xavier should beat Wisconsin tonight, and they should go on to beat Notre Dame too. They are much better then both of those teams.

Also, I'm getting pissed off at how well the ACC is doing. 6 teams in the sweet sixteen if Cuse beats Middle Tennesee. That's a tournament record.

I'm starting to think what if they tie the big east record, three teams in the final four?

Later this week we could have a bit of a big east / ACC showdown with possible Xavier/ND and Nova/Miami games

Cuse FT woes.

VCU and OK Looks like it's heading to a big finish.

Syracuse is killing me. They play Gonzaga next which will be a difficult game but not one they can't win. If they get to the elite eight with even a long shot at a Final Four this year will really rejuvenate the program.

Cuse zone bothering these guys, probably seldom see it.
Uh oh, there is a Slice missing from that pie! :eek:hmy:

And I'm going back out to the ledge . (Paultzman, tell me it isn't so.)

Just haven't seen him around. :)

I thought I read in another thread that he, Chris and Matt were in Glenn Falls to see Shamorie in the State Federation Championships.

Well guess what that's a great program with a great coach that blew by St.John's years ago and never looked back.
Why do you think St. John's got as highly ranked last year as they were, they won up a Cuse for first time in 20 some odd years.
That's how good the program is and how respected it is. Committee is rewarded for giving this program the nod to get in and sure enough they go to the sweet sixteen joining 5 other ACC teams. Read it and weep

No debate here on that.

Game was in Albany this year and I am pretty sure I was one of the few people there to see Shamorie play outside of a small group of Jefferson backers.

Texas AM comes back from 12 down in last minute to force OT. How they didn't foul and force a turnover to lead to the tying basket with 1.9 to go was unbelievable.

Now they are going back and forth in OT' unbelievable.

...from the March 19th Times Ledger

www.timesledger.com/stories/2016/12/pond...ju_2016_03_18_q.html

"And the stellar performance for Ponds came with Red Storm head coach Chris Mullin and assistants Barry Rohrssen and Matt Abdelmassih in the stands."

Xavier tied. 11 seconds left

Sumner called for the charge, and Wisconsin has the ball with 3 seconds remaining. I kinda felt a bad play coming from Sumner. I knew he was gonna go right, and obviously, the Badger defender knew it, too.
