NCAA Tournament Thread

Jay Bilas said it, "UCLA would have beaten every other team tonight except for Gonzaga with this performance."

Gonzaga has been a machine all season and through the NCAAs. Not taking anything from UCLA--who I rooted for.  They played a game for the Ages, but the Zags sputtered today., relatively speaking.
Monday's game may be close, but I doubt the drama approaches tonight's game. Zags win by 6+ imo.
Gotta root for the Jebbies vs the Baptists. /media/kunena/emoticons/smile.png

Monday is Good vs Evil. I fuking ( spelled wrong so not a curse ) hate Baylor
Agree. Hate Baylor, the school, the administration, the football and basketball programs, the basketball coach but have to admit not their players. Especially like guard Jared Butler, and forward Mark Vital. Should be and hoping for another great game along the lines of tonight's UCLA game. Shows the so called experts can't predict what will happen as I didn't hear any of them giving UCLA a chance. Would love Suggs on the Knicks but doubt it will happen.

I feel bad for UCLA.  I was rooting for them as soon as I sensed they wasn't gonna back down.
Is this the payback game for the 2006 UCLA comeback down 17 to win against the Adam Morrison Gonzaga team? Batistaaaaa with the caaaaatch! Heartbreak CITY! Another one of the all-time games in March Madness

Was gonna say that but also thought of remote possibility with all of their first rounders a package of picks plus players to move up. Realize highly unlikely but they could still end up in lottery and get extremely lucky.

I never thought Gonzaga would be going away anytime soon, but this really put it in perspective:

“I'm 18 years old. Gonzaga has made the tournament the last 22 years, so I've grown up knowing they're a dominant program.” -Chet Holmgren

Baylor killing it and without a very big team out there.  The height thing is overrated.  Gotta be able to shoot!

Baylor’s backcourt is better than Gonzaga’s. And Gonzaga backcourt is special.

For first time all season, Suggs looking like a freshman to me

Long game. If Zags get it below 10 by halftime, second half will be pretty interesting.

Baylor played a perfect first half and Gonzaga played like crap. And still only up by 10. Zags gotta be happy with how half ended

You nailed it.  Second half should be fun.  Baylor to edge it.

Can someone please tell me why Clark Kellogg, who is by far the most knowledgeable guy up there, is given the least amount of mic time? And by a lot. Smith and Barclay dominate the conversation. Not for nothing, I could care less about Stanford, Archbishop Molloy, Arizona, etc etc etc I want to hear some game analysis!!

Zags don’t belong on the court with Baylor:  it’s crazy. Simply can’t defend anything Baylor goes with, whether inside nor outside.  Zags need Baylor to get cold and statistically they don’t.

Timme and Kispert have been huge liabilities tonight for Gonzaga. Can’t protect the ball and aren’t quick enough to handle Baylor’s pressure

Baylor has played great tonight. I also think UCLA broke Gonzaga in a way, it took everything they had emotionally to win that and I don’t think they were ready to come out here two days later and take on a buzzsaw in Baylor

I think Baylor is just vastly better.  Everybody can shoot and they’re much more athletic and aggressive.  Dare I say Baylor is somewhat a team that I see sju wanting to play like. Baylor just has a ton of savy players.  Every guard is a killer and every inside player is an Anthony Glover type.
