NCAA Tournament 2022

If I’m a player the only guy I fear is the guy on Murray state named Hannibal

Maryland list apparently includes a lot of names who looked good today. I think Willard is the safest name, but do they take a shot on McMahon?

Not sure if anyone else noticed, but both The Dons and The Zips got whacked last night.

I’m old enough to remember a St Peter’s team led by talented Elnardo Webster, Loughlin guy & former St Peter’s HC, Bob Leckie that made some noise in NIT as I recall. They also surprised that year, but the win last night is something every StP kid will remember all of their lives, no matter the result of the next one. That is what makes the Dance the best event in sports imo.

St Peter’s piece

Vermont could have used Stef Smith tonight.

This year's Vermont team would have been mid-pack to top half of Big East Conference.

John Becker, Fairfield, Ct native, is really an outstanding coach. He has to be comfortable at Vt. because he must have received offers at bigger schools in past several years. Good for him!

Becker, from Fairfield, where he last played for Roger Ludlowe High in 1986, left a comfortable IT job in Washington in 2006 to take a $7,000 per year job as director of basketball operations at Vermont, where he eventually became an assistant coach, and head coach. Per Hartford Courant

I know we generally root for Big East success but I wouldn't mind the Blue Hens shocking the world today. Obviously I am from the great first state and my Mom and older sister both are proud UofD alums. GO BLUE HENS
