Right on the money, the Thomas kid, Adonis Delarosa (sp?) not qualifying, not enough size. Lavin the recruiter didn't get it done.

We only had 5 high major talent level players and none over 6'6 tonight. No bench. Kids played hard.

It took us 4 years to get back and we are once again one and done. It sounds like it will take another 4 years to get back again. At this point I'll be dead before we get to the second round. These guys gave everything they had tonight. Its more about we still have not built a program that can compete year after year. We once again are back to square one. Its just frustrating and disappointing all in one.
 
Well, the end of another mediocre season. If this is going to be our reality, then why seeing this if you are the administration would you continue to hire a coach with a big recruiting budget, a big payroll and a giant salary. Louie had nothing in comparison and managed about as well . If the future is an NIT title once in awhile and a few trips to the NCAA every few years, then why not take a chance with a Cleuss who at least gives you an exciting style of basketball.

I will always watch and root for St John's, my alma mater, no matter who is coaching
If I supported the team through the Jarvis and Roberts eras, I can deal with anything
I just hope that we have another NCAA berth this decade :whistle:

These gave their all. They played their hearts out! They were undermanned and just didn't have enough tonight. San Diego State never shoots like this, I hope they shoot this on Sunday, I want Duke to go down. All in all, at least we made the dance.

Yeah I but, but I just guess that those will love these major disappointments with him as coach, have fun with more player suspensions, ineligibility, and all the other bs that comes with lavin being here
 
Every team except for one ends their season with a loss, so to some extent most teams go home disappointed.

But I think this season stings more than most because we knew we had some talent and this was the season we were building towards since 2011.
