Simon has to have the absolute worst touch in the country in D1.
. Mike , this is one time I have to agree with you . He misses 3-4.bunnies a game , every game . And , it hurts . Clark , Figgy and Heron are MIA . If any of the 3 contribute anything in the first half, it’s a single digit deficit .

Someone on that staff has to take Heron aside during halftime and reassure him how bad he’s needed. He’s frustrated and it’s affecting his game way too much.

These announcers are terrible. Acting like Hurley did one thing. Acting like the ref hadn’t already said something to him.
bright side is that was a as about a bad a half as we could get. Gotta improve ?
This isn't just a case of us missing good shots, This is a case of ASU forcing us in to taking bad shots. They're not going to let up on D. We need to figure something out if we want to come back.

The system is broken.
Serious question, do you really think it's the system? or is it lack of talent?
A lot of the former and a bit of the latter.

These halftime announcers are the D squad
Announcer said it's quite a luxury for us to have 2 HOFers on our bench. Too bad it's a luxury we can't afford.
Does this mean you are not in favor of replacing Matt with Tim Hardaway on the bench?
ASU could have played better. I think we lulled them to sleep a little bit.
They gave us every chance to get to single digits. We just didn’t take advantage.

If Figueroa and Heron can get their games up to where it belongs, we can get back in this game fast.

8 turnovers, only 4 assists and 9-30. We don't move the ball better and shoot close to 50% in second half, we have no chance.
Need 5 guys to play well in 2nd half. 13 points is not a lot to make up if we do that.

Defense wasn’t the problem for most that half. We have to get going offensively. Everything you got!

Wishful thinking The people responsible for picking us are kicking themselves I thought we could a least make a game of it
Ponds needs to rethink leaving as does heron
They are only out-rebounding us by 1, 19-18. We're beating them on the offensive boards, 6-2.
They've missed so few shots that there weren't many opportunities for offensive rebounds

In theory yes. But it might take us 10 minutes to score 13 points total. We don't consistently create open shots so it's hard for us to shoot a high percentage against a good defensive team. And it's also hard to consistently get stops against a good offensive team with balance and size.

I'm sitting in a section of about 25 sju students who are making more noise cheering for our guys than the rest of the arena put together. All good kids too.

More heart than most of the rest of us. Good for them

Brendan Haywood made a great point. This offense in no way reflects the way Chris Mullin use to play. Haywood said, Chris Mullin would never play in this in this offense. Mullin always came off screens and moved without the ball constantly to get a good shot. None of that happens in our offense
