Dear OSR,

Everyone is frustrated and unhappy. Contrary to what Mike Zaun believes, all posters are very disappointed in how the season turned out. Some are just not yet prepared to grab their pitchforks. However, we ask once again that you and others please refrain from Swearing and calling the players names. You could just say 2 kids shot 1-17, without calling them derogatory names. I am sure Clark feels just horrible that this is how his college career ended. No need to further crap on the kid.
Thank you very much for your future cooperation.
Oh ok north, so I'll just call them ass, is that better. It's not my fault that their soft, it's just their makeup I guess. I wont back track from calling them how I see them.
As I said last night I hope heron goes with clark and that's sticking no matter who likes it. You got your opinion north and I got mine..
So again yes they are soft. Only thing I take back is the "ass" part.
Clark has taken a pounding all year by being forced to play major minutes (with little or not relief from our so-called big men) against low-post guys who are taller, stronger, and more physical (guys like govan) -- something that obviously took its toll as the season went on. To call him "soft" is just asinine.

Yeah their kids so they can do no wrong, I get it.
We played like the last team to make it into the tourney.
We played like the "worst" team to make it into the tourney.

It’s just not a SJU NCAA Tournament game unless the team is trailing by double digits midway in the first half.

Those two stunk up the joint
Just think if they would have made another 4 or 5 free throws that they missed . It would have been neck and neck down the stretch of the game

very melancholy today
Just want a competitive to very competitive team year in and out
yes, like the old days!

So in your eyes, having an off night shooting (0-5, not exactly disrupting the flow of the offense) makes Clark a "soft ass"? Who are you, the Great Santini? Fortunately most fans will remember him as a great teammate who gave it his all.

As others said maybe he checked out a month ago.

Of course that all goes back to roster construction. That said, there is no denying Clark and Heron had bad days yesterday. We probably would have won if they just had average days.

The problem of two players going 1 for 17 is a problem all teams face. You counteract that situation by sitting the offenders for a few minutes, let them get some rest and then bring them back into the game hoping they have regained their touch. If not they sit some more.
However when there is no one on the bench capable of competing you must leave the offenders in the game and hope for the best. This shouldn't be the case in year four.

Bull, we had Williams and Josh on the bench, maybe they wouldn't be ready for the big stage, but could they do any worse then 1-17?

Not for nothing, but it seems like, the less they played, the more popular Williams and Roberts got with the fanbase.

Bottom line: Whether the kid had one off night or ten, there's absolutely no reason for referring to him as a "soft ass" player.

Guess it's not sinking in. It's not "ass" that bothers me (and numerous others, as you may have seen), it's "soft." The kid's a true competitor -- a warrior, as other posters have put it. End of story.
