Every year I keep thinking he will be a player for college jobs, but he sure does seem content making the play in every year in the NBA
Obviously he’s gotta wait 8 or so years for Pitino to retire after winning 5 championships hereEvery year I keep thinking he will be a player for college jobs, but he sure does seem content making the play in every year in the NBA
San Antonio is going to be a wagon for awhile here. Think they are still a move away but they have plenty of ability to make that move when they choose to do so.
Seems like he will stay where he is but yeah, that's one possibility.
I actually played against Kareem in Catholic grade school scrimmage since our parishes were close to each other. He played varsity at Power year one, but still becoming more coordinated and skilled. By his second year, he became dominant completely destroying Valentine Reid of LaSalle HS, considered at the time to be best CHSAA big in NYC. (which I saw in person) From sophomore year on, he was most dominant HS big man in the country. Obviously that continued at UCLA to the point the NCAA banned dunking for a short time. His pro record & championships speak for itself.![]()

Excellent article. Kareem definitely deserves to be up there in any discussions with MJ and Lebron imho.
