I get that Duncan Robinson is an OK insurance policy for the Malik Beasley situation, but Detroit needs to do more. They need to see about packaging a couple of their above-average players plus some draft capital to get a star to pair with Cade Cunningham. Adding another average-to-above-average player is not the answer.
If I were them everyone except Duren and Cunningham would be available in search of another player to help carry the offensive load.
