Whew!!!
Damn, I owe Oliva and Gempesaw apologies.
I railed at them earlier today!
I'll happily apologize and mean it!
Lol.

His resume overall is very, very good. Surprised Arkansas let him go.

Glad I won't need to protest going to games next year. :)

Something tells me this gives us a great shot at Mustapha returning for his senior year.

Anderson was on the Arkansas bench when Scotty Thurman, Corliss Williamson and co came from behind and eliminated David Cain and SJU from the second round of the NCAAs in ‘93

If this goes down, then we've lucked out (particularly to what has happened this week) IMO. I'm also pretty, damn confident Anderson would be able to maintain our current roster (including, Figueroa), and he may be able to garner us a sufficent, late grab (or two) in the game as well.

Curious to how his staff will shape out.

...and hopefully, LJ for another year?

Uh oh, the dreaded come to terms. Hopefully MA got a huge buyout and can survive NY on $7.50/hr.
Hire this man right now. It’s a no brainer..... but so was Cluess, Pitino, and Bobby Hurley..... SJU prob put him on the list to get our hopes up one last time before we get stuck with James Jones.
Damn all I had to do was demand it and it happened literally 2 min after lol!

I am beyond thrilled. I can not believe we came out of this sh*t show of a coaching search with a coach of Mike’s caliber.

Looks like I will be renewing my season tickets after all!

Sources; Rens AAU director Andy Borman will be considered for Mike Anderson's staff if this gets finished as expected. #sjubb

I am so freaking happy right now. This can be a great choice by Cragg because it doesn’t have to be his legacy hire but it can be a great start to his legacy.

So anyone who has watched his teams, is it 40 minutes of hell - the press, press and more press style of play?
Expect to see lots of switching defenses. Zone to man, with some pressing tossed in.
Good. College teams, when they run into that, have a hard time handling it.

You mean it's not Pitino?
At the moment it isn't, but there is a pretty good trade off. So we will see who wins out here
Tom, I sure hope you know what you are talking about. The last thing this board needs is false hope.
Long rumored quid pro quo hire which may also indicate Cragg could stick around imo.
