Any crystal ball thoughts Tom?

I think a time out is called for and a reset. They should step back from the cliff and take the holiday weekend and put together a target list, and let Cragg do his job..

Very sensible Tom, appreciate it!

Boynton is too green to judge and Anderson hit his ceiling. I am still 100 percent on the Pitino train, and the House that Rick built. Odom would of been acceptable but his Dad didn't have anything nice to say about this search

It is Easter weekend and I like the synergy of the largest Catholic University in the United States resurrecting their basketball program. For anyone paying attention the following Sunday is "Mercy Sunday" so I'm hoping for a merciful hire. Enough of Lent already!

Not trying to be sarcastic, but I think the bigger question is will Mike Cragg be the AD next week? Pretty hard to get a coach in place if your AD is on his way out.

I agree 100%. It's obvious that barring a miracle the administration has taken a blowtorch to the 2019 season. At this point take your time and get the best guy who is willing to go through a multi-year slog and try to save your AD situation too. As much as it is doubful the program will ever be any good a deep breath is badly needed. Exactly how many public turndowns does this school want?

Coaching candidates are like strands of spaghetti
Throw them against the wall and see which one sticks
Anderson would be a great choice
But I pity the guy that takes this job and works for these knuckleheads

Anderson is one of the few names so far that I believe would retain players like LJ and Heron. Feel like he should have been one of the first ones contacted last week.

I know beggars can’t be choosers, but I’m having a very hard time getting excited over a guy who just got fired and who I anticipate will, and hope will, get us back to a Lavinesque level. Just not feelin it.

Strong coach, stable resume, no scandals that I am aware of. I don't think we could do much better at this point.

Unless they think they have a real shot at Billy Donavan within the next week, they would be utter fools not to extend an offer to Anderson asap.
He would have taken this years roster to the Sweet-16

Ah, Lavin-esque levels. Stop teasing me. We can only dream of that right now...

Comparing those 2 clowns to Glenn Sather is an insult to a 4-time Stanley Cup winning coach

I find it frustrating that there aren't any rumors or reports of Anderson, Rhodes or Martin having an interview with Cragg. We either didn't actually reach out, or they said not interested and we didn't hear about it

I've desperately hoping the opposite is true -- that the absence of rumors means someone is actually working toward getting something done. (Wild-eyed optimist, clinically insane or just flat-out stupid. Any of those descriptions may fit.)

Probably in their best interest to not get exposed to further rejections I'm thinking. Don't even understand how/why this stuff gets leaked to the media.

Didn’t the Browns fire Belichick?
