Mike Anderson Is A Program Builder
Fast forward to 2021:

"Ok I know we still don't have a top 100 4 star player, and I know we swore the 2022 class would be way better. But let's wait until 2023 that's the REAL test!"

Fast forward to 2022:

"Ok I know we swore the 2023 class would be way better. But let's wait until 2024's class. That will be the make or break".

Fast forward to 2023:

"Ok I know we swore the 2024 class would be great, but the 2025 class will be our year to break through"

Anyone else getting deja vu? Sorry, have to be honest! Said all along CMA can work out here but only if he can recruit at this level. So far he cannot. He gets most out of kids, but that only gets you so far because 2-3 star kids have lower ceilings than 4's. We also still have no real post presence on top of all that. Last place in Big East recruiting currently. No one below.
You are soooo negative and unenjoyable to read (undoubtedly applies to some of my posts as well).
I wonder if you are old enough to have followed our program this past 25-30 years?

I savored this 2019-20 season - one of our best in decades. I am eager to see our team play again - hopefully in 2020-21. Williams, Champagne, Earlington, Roberts, Dunn and newcomers.
Coach Anderson and staff recruits hard, practices hard, plays hard.
Good times ahead and at hand.

All the best MZ - and my comments refer to your posts not you as a person.

With the roster as constructed, St johns has a shot at the Big East crown this year. A legitimate shot.

Very difficult to rile the General :)

Wow, if the 2019-2020 season was one of our best in decades, we’ve fallen further than I thought. In all seriousness, that comment speaks volumes about how bleak the last 15-20 years have been for us as a program.

Good ESPN article on the possibility of a college basketball season:

I think the college basketball season solely depends on the success (or lack thereof) of the remaining college football teams.
Agreed. The better the college football season goes, the better for college basketball. And I believe the football season will be just fine.
