(Miami Invit) Georgia Tech, Sat. Dec. 1, 12 Noon, ESPNU / 570 WMCA

I wonder how the crowd will be. I assume more GT fans than SJU, but probably not too hostile of an environment given the distance and GT's lackluster start. I expect SJU to be favored by about 5.

Pretty pumped up, moved down to FL 6 years ago. Fortunately have been able to watch pretty much every game on TV since then. Nonetheless, been a while since I've seen them live. Let's go!

Stupid question, is there some place to find a list of bars in Manhattan that would show the game? Every Big 10 or ACC school has its local place in the City to go to. It annoys me that these out of towners feel at home more than I do when I watch a SJU game at a local bar. Mind you I did attend school in a Big 10 area but it still annoys me.

Also, some schools have clubs in NYC - The Harvard Club, etc. Even Villanova opened a club in NYC

Banged up a knee last weekend and probably can't handle arena seating yet. Will watch from home after getting no help from AAArena re: accommodated seating. Live in Florida and was hoping to lead whoever was interested to a spot called 15th St. Fisheries that sits on the Intercoastal in Ft. Lauderdale. Built on a dock with viewing of marine life below and surrounded by yachts and a view of the ocean liner entryway into the Ft. Lauderdale harbor. They have a downstairs venue that's a mix of good seafood, comfort menu, and dive bar and a fancier venue upstairs. My calculations were watch STJ, catch a few minutes of Tariq playing for Texas Tech and then get there about 3:30 or 4 when there is usually a lull at most restaurants. No reservations in downstairs venue but I prefer it. If Rich Steinfeld is at the game I think he knows the place as well. PM or post and I will try to get there a little early to let them know how many are en route if anyone is interested.

Hope all those redmen.comers attending tomorrow's game in Florida have a blast and get to see a convincing Johnnie victory!

Will be there with my son, his first game and my first since the Charleston Classic in 2011. Moved to S. FL earlier this year and pumped to see a live game and introduce my son to SJU ball. I'll be in section 116.

Go Redmen!

St. John's is a 4.5-point favorite over Georgia Tech tomorrow and Seton Hall is favored by 3.5 over Louisville. Two interesting noon games. #sjubb
