Mets 2024 Season

Mendoza and the GD analytics pitch count crap strikes again. Second night in a row, let’s take out the hot pitcher.
I know it’s a bad time to say it but Mendoza is one of the worst pitching staff handlers I have ever seen. He does a lot if good things managing but he has made the wrong calls all season long. From a baseball point of view, NO reason to take Quintana out, just as there was NO reason to go to and then to stay with Maton last night.

Mendoza deserves to be fired.
Quintana threw 94 pitches, wowwww.

A major league pitcher should be able to throw 110 pitches in the postseason.

I wouldn’t fire him but to not let Quintana start this inning is a joke.

None of these chokers can hit the ball besides Lindor. So, it doesn’t really matter. Can’t wait until Alonso plays on another team.

Actually thinking about it. I get it. Top of the order up. Maybe the most important part of the game is here and not later.

We can trash the bullpen all we want but NO Met not named Lindor has scratched out a hit. 0/21.

And then to compound the stupidity Mendoza has no problem bringing in Diaz in the 7th LOSING, which under the circumstances was a good move, but it accentuates the fact he refused to bring him in the 8th last night WINNING. Hard to understand.

In real time

Nathalie “ where are you taking me to dinner tomorrow “

Me “ huh ? We went to dinner the other night “

Nathalie “ yeah but now you arent buying met playoff tickets so you can spend it on me and it will cost less “
