Max Hooper

I realize he broke the Jakarr news but jeez can we stop hanging on to every single thing said on twitter? There has been no evidence of this anywhere else

I can now say for certain that RedStorm80 posts on the jungle under the name RedStorm80. My detective skills strike once again :)

Shouldn't you be experiencing some culture or something? Or are you stuck on some Colombian toilet with nothing better to do than read the St Johns web sites?

LOL. Was out this morning and actually leaving the B&B now after a break. Stomach still not right but I'll survive although worn down between not eating much and this heat&humidity

Gotta head to Cafe Del Mar in a little while to meet up with friends

At least we don't have to worry about Lavin screwing up the lineups next year. We are gonna be

Point Guard - Rysheed Jordan, Jamal Branch
Shooting Guards - D'Angelo Harrison, Phil Greene, Felix Balamou
Small Forward - Dom Pointer
Power Forward- Christian Jones, Adonis De La Rosa
Center - Chris Obekpa

So we are 9 deep if the season started today, well 8 deep if you don't include ADR

It worked for Ed Cooley. Maybe less choice is a good thing.

No it's not. We have zero frontcourt right now. I mean none. Cooley still had some very decent frontcourt players like Henton, Batts, derossiers, Harris. That is in addition to his backcourt talent. We have a few guards and nothing else right now with 5 open ships and almost everybody in the top 100 off the table. This is in no way a good thing.

Put Hooper aside. Is it a leap to say the program has problems? Make up all the lineups you want, but there is something rotten here.

He could have realized it will be the case no matter who comes in - 5 min/gm at best will do it. Made him turn a whiter shade of pale....

It helps him go - great laxative

Certainly looks that way. I keep thinking back to the first Georgetown game when Lavin started the walk-on and Balamou as a “motivational tactic.” That was a massive, massive red flag. Why in the name of God would the players need motivation for their second conference game of the season?? Against G’town, no less!

And to give Lavin some benefit of the doubt, maybe he was driven to the edge by things we don’t know about. But it sure seems like something has been festering here for a while.

Unless he can prove some hardship I would imagine Max would have to go D2 or lower. Otherwise he'd have to sit out another year and then have just one remaining. Of course this is all pending him actually transferring.

I'd never let Max go if I was Coach Lavin.
If it's true...what a year to have five scholarships? Jermaine Lawrence, Omar Calhoun, Antoine Mason, the big from New Mexico, Antony Lee....

he's not graduating early, right? Maybe some summer classes gets him the graduate provision and we haven't heard about it yet? I have no idea, just throwing it out there.

I think that only applies if you graduate with your class. Not if you graduate early. Could be wrong but it's specifically called the 5th year graduate transfer provision I think.
