You know, I was thinking the same thing as I was getting on t the site. Then I saw this. I should have just stayed off.
 
Can only assume kid wanted to go somewhere that was more on his level. At least this move makes sense. Although one has to question the timing of it.
 
Here is my glass half full (of Kool-Ade) analysis.
Something is up. He was told by the coach that his playing time would continue to be limited next season. This is due to at least 2 players (SG/SF) coming in.
Who those players might be.....I have no idea. Maybe Mason plus someone else? Maybe another transfer and an unheralded recruit? Maybe toss a JC player in there?
Just a mindless feeling....

* I know Sanchez and Hooper were here for two years but each had to sit last year.
 
Well he couldn't get minutes on a team starving for shooting; why would he stay? I mean it's not like he was sitting because of the clamp down defense being played by those in front of him. I think he was pretty much doomed when he came off the bench passing the ball before the required 10 meaningless dribbles. Interesting month in front of us; hope not but it might be time to trot out the Michael Ray Richardson quote book.
 
I hope Max goes someplace he's happy and gets to play. IMHO it's a non-issue for our program.
 
Besides, after scoring 18 against Robert Morris what more was there for him to accomplish at STJ. ;)

The guy that said he's transferring said Loyola and Dunlap is a possible destination for Hooper.
 
I realize he broke the Jakarr news but jeez can we stop hanging on to every single thing said on twitter? There has been no evidence of this anywhere else
