this guy must be going pro, if not, why would you ever transfer out of Harvard??????

huh?

Harvard Degree is one of the most prestigious degrees you can get, if you are not going pro then you need your degree.

Ever think he couldn't hack it at Harvard academically?
Maybe that's why he didn't play all year?

this kid is a flat out shooter!!! he would be a great additon to any team,
out of mater dei i believe right?

Hooper is out of Mater Dei, and he is certainly a net stripper. I believe he's about 6'5", as well. So, he has pretty decent height.

Wonder why he only played two games last year. Was it academics related? Given his stellar academic track record that would be surprising.

Also, given his acadamic background, why would he prep a year? Is it b/c he didn't get any offers coming out highschool? If that's the case, it seems strange that we'd be interested in him now. He didn't exactly get an opportunity to showcase himself at Harvard.

Remember a fellow by the name of Jeff Van Gundy who started at Yale and then transferred to Menlo College before getting his degree from Nazareth. People transfer for a variety of reasons, even from some of the best school's on the planet.

Looks like this was a fast offer. Staff sure on top of things

If he transfers out of the conference he doesn't have to sit out, I think.
A friend of mine in LA, who is originally from Brooklyn, saw the kid play a lot last year and thinks he would be a good addition. FWIW
