Chris Mullin was one of the best College BB players of his era. Really any era. As a pro, he further demonstrated that his talent was HOF caliber.
Max Hooper will not be in that category.
That being said, all we want from Hooper is the ability to drill the 3 pt jumper, make free throws and be a good teammate. We should not care whether he starts or can play defense or rebound.
If he could average between 8-10 points a game, with the occasional 12-15 points outburst, we will win a lot more games than we did last year.If Max can do that, we can contend for the BE Championship.

Agreed with most of what you're saying, but I for one care whether he has enough lateral quickness to play D in our zone. If he can't, those 8-10 points you're proposing will be a drop in the bucket compared to the points opposing teams will score against us when he's on the floor.
