Marvin Clark

Saw 22 new posts in this thread, read them all and not one word about My Friend Marvin. ;) :) Very happy to have my new main man Marvin on the team, think he will give us some much needed muscle.

Ok here is what I would say about this and Paultz and others feel free to correct me. Matt is most definitely landing kids. Good kids. I'm beyond happy Matt is with us. The ponds that Matt and Slice fish in ( no pun intended ) are quite different and different bait and tackle are needed for both. Matt is important because we need to grab a lot of fish from that pond just to put dinner on the table. Slice goes for bigger fish and sometime it takes longer periods of time sitting over that fishing hole to land them. At the same time while he is trying to land the big striped bass it might be annoying to said fisherman to hear that the other person is apparently jesus of nazareth feeding the program when you just came off a single digit win season

This sounds like something Gorilla Monsoon would say, and then Bobby Heenan would reply with a "Good analogy, Gorilla."

I would have simply replied with a "Good analogy, Gorilla," but I didn't want anyone to think it was my pet name for you.

Hope he turns out better for us then Marvelous Marv did for the Mets. :)

Yeah but Marvelous Marv was good guy to have around in the clubhouse and a good beer salesman.

Marvin seems like a great pickup. Can always use a tough rebounder who is also a team leader. Not only is the team getting more talented but it seems like the staff is bringing in high character players. Lets hope the days of the poor attitude players like Obepka and Jordan are a thing of the past.

Physically, these two players are going to help us look the part. And that's not necessarily important to me but it is to some.

A rare highlight clip which includes misses. I like his shooting and ball skills. Don't think Marillac will want this guy hanging around the 3pt line

Agree He thinks he is a guard. He is going to have to get his motor running, times he just looks like he is not playing with fire His shot looks good and his handle. He needs to be where he can rebound this clip has his outside IMO too much

While I appreciate the video, this is a pro-am game and before he joined Izzo's boot camp later that summer. I am sure things and attitude in terms of what he needs to be doing on the court have changed since then.

The great thing about depth is that if someone needs to change and they refuse to, they get buried.
